Scaling and Polishing: Common Questions
Most people feel only mild vibration and some cold sensitivity. If your gums are sensitive, we can numb the area.
Every six months suits most people. If you have gum disease, we may suggest every three to four months.
It removes surface stains, so teeth often look brighter, but it does not change their natural colour. For that, teeth whitening is the better option.
